QuakeCon recently announced that they will be delaying registration, missing the originally announced April 2018 time frame. While this is a setback for QuakeCon’s most hardcore base who want to have the BYOC spot officially reserved, this is really for the best… Really.
In order to avoid the registration woes QuakeCon had in 2017, it’s best that they take the time to get it right, even if that means delaying registration.
“BYOC registration is one of the most important aspects of the show before it begins,” according to QuakeCon’s facebook post. “To make sure that it’s a great user experience we’ve had to take more time to work the details out.”
QuakeCon further stated, “Please stay tuned, we expect to have more details in the coming week.”
